Motion Design|Film| VJ

​TYME is the moniker of Tyler Bell, the name speaking towards our measurement of existence and what we do with our time while here on Earth. As well as the acronym, That's Your Measured Existence. Tyler is a multi-disciplinary artist out of Philadelphia with a focus in Experimental Animation, Film, and Motion Design.

 

The goal of my work is to create art that allows the viewer to breach a new reality. Whether it be through digital/mixed media, audio & visual performances,  or experiential environments, I want the viewer to have an imaginative moment away from real life. I aim to make every project an experiment that will lead the way for itself. Movement, light, color, and sound  are fundamental in all of my work. I challenge myself in a process of digital alchemy  that combines these elements to create something that I find visually compelling. I strongly believe there is no wrong answer in the sense that each choice will lead to the next.

I find this allows the work to unfold naturally.
